5 UNIQUE PHOTO SPOTS IN DTLA

LOCAL TRAVEL

We love LA!

Although Los Angeles may be one of the most well known cities in the world, we have a few photo spots that don't always get the attention they deserve. Consider these hidden gems for your next DTLA adventure.

#1. THE ROW DTLA

The old American Apparel building turned into a shopping mall that hosts some of the best sample sales, flea markets, and craft exhibits around?? SIGN ME UP. The ROW DTLA is a gem that can't be passed by when considering a cool place to take photos. From the tall warehouse buildings, to the murals, to the rooftop view - this place is golden all around.

#2 : VISTA HERMOSA PARK

You may recognize this place from 500 days of summer (yes, it's THAT bench) but it's so much more than that. This park it tucked back in the crowded streets of LA and is like an oasis in the desert. There is a perfect little walking path around the whole park, and the trees combined with the city view totally give off Central Park vibes. You gotta see this place.

#3. CHINATOWN

By far one of the most artistic, colorful and fun places to shoot in DTLA has got to be Chinatown. Now, although this place has been in countless movies and editorial images, we have to say it's worth another look. These days, traffic hasn't been as busy in Chinatown, so the buildings and storefront definitely are due for some more love! The shadows, color and character of this place will always be a favorite.

#4. THE BROAD & WALT DISNEY CONCERT HALL

Looking for some architectural masterpieces? Look no further than the Broad and Walt Disney Concert hall for your next photo spot. These two buildings stand out among the other buildings in DTLA for their bold and beautiful design.

#5 LOWER GRAND

A bit tricky to get to, but 100% worth it! Lower grand is a hidden little gem in DTLA that is such a unique and cool spot for photos. It's striking, bold, unique and full of that city energy.
